We had a nice interaction with the international jury member Stéphane Rivière together with the national jury member Dr. Henry Ndangalasi. They not only advised on progress of our project, but also encourage and applaud us on the stage reached in the project implementation. At the quarry, the jury members and the participants planted the African black wood (Dalbergia melanoxylon) trees as the memory in the rehabilitation of the quarry. This tree species is a slow grower and last for long time which means it will be a long term memory on the efforts of rehabilitating the quarry and contribution in conservation of the environment.
